Our Mission

The Rodecker Foundation is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to strengthening our local community and fostering the values that lead to personal and professional success. Founded on the principles of fiscal responsibility, financial literacy, and essential life skills, we strive to empower individuals to build stable and fulfilling lives.

Our Pillars of Support

The Roger Rodecker Memorial Scholarship

At the heart of our foundation lies the Roger Rodecker Memorial Scholarship, an annual grant awarded to a deserving graduating senior from Fountain Valley High School. This scholarship holds a special emphasis on students who have participated in Concert Choir.

The Story Behind the Scholarship

Roger Rodecker, a vibrant young man, faced a life-altering traumatic brain injury at the age of 18. Despite the immense challenges, Roger demonstrated incredible resilience and completed his high school education. His mother, Diane Rodecker, inspired by Roger's strength, founded the "Challenger" newspaper journal, highlighting stories of individuals overcoming mental and physical handicaps.

The Rodecker Foundation continues this legacy, honoring both Roger and Diane Rodecker through their family: David, Angela, Wallace, and their children. We provide this scholarship to a student who, like Roger, has overcome significant personal challenges to achieve their academic goals.
