Every contribution helps us empower individuals and strengthen our community
It is worth mentioning that, at present, nearly ALL of the Foundations support comes from Wallace, David and Angela (who is a school teacher). In the past, we have not done much fund-raising, but with the passing of our mother in February, 2025, we setting some lofty goals for the next three years.
This will include (among other things) additional scholarships in the arts and music and (our crowning achievement) the acquisition of a 35 acre property ,near Lake Arrowhead as a mentoring camp!
In addition to operating as youth camp, parts of the property may double as a venue, art colony, retreat and lodging to help offset the off-season operational costs (35 acres is a LOT of land!). Once operational, we will foster the sorts of experiences shared above via the ‘campers’ who we WILL be participating in the actual camp construction!
Unfortunately, none of this can happen without additional $$$ and we will need help with this by reaching into your own tool box and donating toward our shared goal. Additionally, any suggestions (ideas) for fundraising will be appreciated. I have lots of experience in construction & business, but very little in asking for $$$ help.
